Dell fupped up my orders so I had to cancel the mini 9s and order a bunch of Acer Aspire Ones from Amazon instead. Probably just as well, as the one I already have now has a blank screen - ugh, so not looking forward to dealing with Dell India tech support on that.

I still have tons of shopping to do but running out of time. I have to finish this bloody course I'm working on or else. . or else I don't I suppose, but I'm finishing it before doing anything so it's pretty much blocking my life at the moment.

Oh and I just saw a HUGE shark swimming out in the backyard under the neighbor's fishing light! Freaky - very distinctive shape and this one seems to enjoy the light. If I knew how to get a decent photo I would but I don't. ok, back to work now. . .

I hate shopping. How many days until Christmas? it's cold out so instead of going to Target, I came home. . . I'm thinking hot chocolate is in order. My holiday spirit seems to be bipolar; one day I'm all for it and singing carols, the next day - ugh, I just wanna hibernate until Jan. 2.

Meeting with the builder was good but I think I want Hardie plank instead of vinyl siding and I'm not gonna do the gas but go all electric due to pricing. This is just the beginning of many, many decisions soon to be needed. I'm rather nervous, no, make that stressed out about the actual loan process. and I don't stress over much usually, but then this is the single biggest purchase of my life and a 30 year commitment to the loan - yikes. I just feel like, dunno, never felt this way, stressed b/c I really, really want this to happen, anxious cause there are still some unknown variables that make it not happen. Hmm, wish I had some irish whiskey to go in that hot chocolate. . .

oh, and the Xmas thing I totally forgot earlier - the iPods have shipped. . . from shanghai! from China to Texas in 2 days - that internet is amazing.

and double Oh - I just got an unexpected payback of some money I forgot I was owed - yeah, just in time. . . for shopping. . . I still hate shopping. . .
