that was the name of the film on my last flight. Just remembered it when I heard Kevin Costner's voice from the next room. I know you're all thrilled at my stellar memory skills. Can we just forgettable - that movie was one of the most predictble, let's see, what armed forces haven't we made a movie about? Uh, the Coast Guard. . .yeah, that's it folks, let's do a Coast Guard rocks action hero movie! B/c the CG is the toughest, baddest, bestest. . and no one knows about it. Well that's all well and good and truth be told, CG is harder to get into than you'd think but still, this movie was over the top.

Ashton Kuchner looked like he was 12 - what is the age difference btwn him and Demi? I may have to rethink my much younger man guideline but I digress. AK did a Top Gun role but with boats instead of planes. I like planes. Well anyways, pass this one up at all costs unless you're trapped on the last leg of 14 hour plane ride and are so jetlagged you couldn't fall asleep with a bottle of nyquil and perhaps even then.
