Let there be light! and there was. I just replaced one of the vintage 70's light sconces in the bathroom that had been driving me nutz b/c it was so fugly. Of course first time it wasn't quite right but I got it on the second try and no sparks, so that's a good sign. The other one will be a bit trickier as I'm going to have to cut a new hole for the GFCI plug I'm installing. Remember, Slaw, how there was no way to plug in a hair dryer? well, this should fix this.

I've been really hesitant to work on anything electrical but after much research and reassurances from homedepot.com and lowes.com I decided to go ahead and tackle this "intermediate" level task. phew, one down, one to go.

But now it's time to go enjoy the sunset and feed the seagulls. . .
