Ever been so excited about your job. . .

that you just hate to quit working? but you have to b/c your home was made unlivable by a hurricane and so you have to stop working and go do things like: pick up the building permit you applied for a few days ago, entice the plumber (Slaw's imaginary boyfriend) to come over and give you an estimate on "doing your pipes" and a hundred other things. well yeah, that's me right now. but did want to share this new ubuntu-luv site with you all:

Estimates so far on repairs: Electrcial $10k, A/C $3k. . .can we say ouch? and found out everyone but my section of the city now has water/sewer, well the beach folks, but we knew they were screwed royally, but in my area the system was so messed up they are considering running a "temporary" pipe over the canal in order to reach the main system. ugh, not good, so as my plumber/neighbor told me, "you can have water but they just don't want you to flush the toilet."
