so far so good!

Mom is now calling us from the hospital to make sure we're not screwing up her house to badly and to make sure the kids have enough things to keep them busy and lots of other stuff she really doesn't need to be worrying about but she's The Mom and that's what she does. There's supposed to be no cellphones in the ICU but alas they relax the rules all the time - but geez! we're gonna have to take her cellphone away from her already. She's also calling all her friends telling them not to worry about her b/c she's worried they will be worried about her! and the cycle never ends.

We don't relax very easily in this family, have you noticed that yet? so about to leave to go up there for the day. Soooo glad I'm off until Jan. 5. It was strange to grab my computer this morning and realize I had NO work work to do - well I do but I'm ignoring it for a few days b/c I can prolly take some relaxation lessons myself. And I'll start dealing with the insurance stuff next week - it will still be there and so will the thousand other things that need to be done.

Thanks a million all for the warm thoughts and prayers - they really help and just knowing you folks are out there sending em is really nice. Okay, some leftovers - btw I cooked my first Turkey yesterday and it was YUM-E! - and then off to the hospital.
