not sure if I like this new iWeb thing. it only lets you upload 99 or less photos at a time. but I think the quality is prolly better than snapfish so take a look at these next few shots from the South Island.

Date: 2008-01-31 05:06 am (UTC)Anywho, FYI, the "no idea" photo you posted is of "The Chasm," on the way to/fro Milford. The place where soft rock and hard rock all collided and created funky rock formations. The shot you took is where the rock looks like "The Scream" (Edvard Munch??) if you look at it right. It's also the same location where Skip told us that a couple weeks earlier a Canadian tourist had ignored warning signs and went out on a rock to get a better photo of the rapids and she fell in, went through a suckhole (haven't we all?), popped out the other side by the 'Scream" rocks and was fotunate enough to live, despite head injuries (Skip said others have died taking that same ill-fated ride).
