dinda: (space shuttle launch)
story of my life, eh? I'm avoiding working on a really boring outline of 48 pages of some of the most boring content I've ever dealt with. Sometimes companies really can get too carried away with "processes" and this project is a prime example. They've made the whole creation process one big assembly line and now the client is complaining b/c things are "boring." Well, duh, it's all so cookie cutter and auto-templates that there is no run to do anything other than boring, dry stuff.

It's kind of amusing b/c on the one hand you need processes for something this large but on the other, it makes the end product really boring. Talk about irony, you want things consistent, but not too consistent. The one good thing about designing eLearning is that I don't actually have to take this eLearning. I'd go nutz if I had to take some 1100 hours of these little modules to try to learn to do my job!

Okay, better get started I have a deadline and lunch plans and really need a shower. At least the weather is kinda meh, hot, sticky, threatening to rain at any minute, so that will keep me inside today instead of gardening or fishing or riding my bike or. . .just sitting on the deck dreaming of what I'm going to do when I do finally get my other property sold and can then do the real upgrades I want here. okay, really, back to work now. . .

Oh and guess who's all-star nephew just got announced as next year's Varsity Baseball Team Captain? and got selected as MVP for this past season? uh huh, the one and only Stefan Hernandez! I need to update his website soon too.
