home, sweet, almost home. . .
Nov. 23rd, 2008 05:50 amBack in Baytown atm; got in around 5pm yesterday called to check on the cat (she's fine) and so decided to crash here at the rents instead of driving another hour and half after the 10 hour flight back from London. Pretty sure, no positive, I slept right through dinner and of course have been up since 4 am. the brain it does not rest - must stop grinding my teeth.
I have some stories to tell. . . and will in a few friends-only posts, as I need your advice on lots of things.
Quick hits on London - I failed to have a good curry and/or decent pub experience but the week was all about business and most of those targets were hit. there is never enough time in the day - literally, it gets dark at 4pm in London these days. geez, what's up with that. Was anything ever invented in the dark days of winter? seriously, I need sunshine for inspiration and cold, gray short winter days only make me tired.
Coffee is ready and stomach is reminding me I've had no food in a very long time. . .
