a "reversal"
Jul. 5th, 2007 05:53 pmOh man, did anyone catch Nathan's hot dog eating contest on the tele yesterday? Let's just say I had a bit of a reversal right along with Kobayashi - ick.
It rained here all day- been raining for days, held off just long enough for the scheduled fireworks then rain all night. And now it needs to stop b/c I have to get the lawn mowed.
Today's treasure finds while upacking include my flatware (I need a new set), photos from Australia and London, and cooking things like tongs and whisks and large spoons but alas only one large pot. Will need to go buy a cookware set soon. Ooooh nice, a large fish just jumped outside. The great thing about this place is I can enjoy the great outdoors while sitting on my air-conditioned sofa. My nephew claims he can cast from the deck to the water but I'd rather not try that. Pics as soon as it stops raining and I get organized.
